How to read the returned fields

A result is a public snapshot, not proof of ownership or an endorsement of the account. Keep identifiers and links attached to any counts you save so the record remains understandable later.

Check the account before reading its numbers

Begin with the exact handle and profile picture, then read the display name. Several accounts can use the same name, and an avatar can be copied. If the handle is not the one you intended, correct the input before comparing any counts. A public profile preview helps you choose a destination; it does not prove who owns that destination.

For a useful record, save the handle, public profile link, date and the particular count you need. For example, a dated follower count can document the size of a profile when you start a campaign. It cannot show how many of those followers saw a post or whether they are interested in your product.

Followers, following and posts describe different things

Followers or subscribers describe the audience attached to an account. Following describes accounts it follows. Posts, videos or Pins describe published content when that total is supplied. Keep the labels attached to the values: none of these numbers is interchangeable with reach, impressions, watch time or sales.

Some platforms do not expose all three totals. The result keeps missing fields unavailable rather than filling them with zero. An account with 25 posts and 2,000 followers has two different totals; dividing them does not produce a reliable engagement rate. Use the platform’s own analytics for metrics that require account access.

Use a profile snapshot in a real workflow

A community manager can use this preview to confirm the right account before recording a collaboration link. A support team can use the handle and image to distinguish two similarly named accounts. A creator can check whether a public-facing biography and profile picture identify the expected channel.

After the lookup, open the platform if you need to take an action, contact the owner or check the latest content. Keep the original URL with your notes. The tool does not follow accounts, change biographies or send messages on your behalf.

Missing results and freshness

A repeated identical lookup may reuse a result for up to one minute. The displayed time records when this page received the result, not a guarantee that Facebook updated every field at that moment.

An empty field, unavailable image or failed request can reflect source availability, changed links or temporary limits. Check the spelling and public visibility, then try again later. Do not repeatedly submit the same request while one is running.

Verification is valid for up to ten minutes or ten requests. If it expires, complete it again. The tool never asks for your social media password, recovery code or browser cookies.
