Prepare eligibility before random selection
Enter one participant per line. Trim accidental spaces and review the list against the rules you published before the draw. The picker removes exact repeated entries after normalizing the text, so an identical supplied name is not accidentally counted twice. Different spellings or aliases can still describe the same person and require your own review.
The list comes from you. The tool does not collect comments, inspect follows or verify social tasks. If your rules allow only one entry per person, resolve duplicate identities before drawing. Do not change the eligibility rules after seeing which entry was selected.
Understand what the random selection does
The picker uses the browser’s cryptographic random generator and selects without a biased remainder calculation. Winners are removed from the temporary selection pool so one supplied entry is not selected twice within the same draw. You can request between one and twenty winners, up to the number of unique entries.
For example, prepare a checked list of twelve eligible participants and choose two winners. The result contains two distinct entries from that list. It says nothing about whether their names are real, whether they own social accounts or whether they completed campaign conditions.
Keep a fair, usable record
Before the draw, retain the final list, rules and draw time in your own records. Afterward, retain the selected entries and how you will contact them. The page does not create an independently verifiable certificate or preserve a permanent audit history for you.
Running the picker again creates a new selection. Decide in advance when a replacement draw is allowed, such as when a selected entry fails an eligibility check already stated in the rules. Do not repeatedly redraw just to obtain a preferred outcome and then describe the process as a single random selection.
